What the heart colours mean

• Blue: your partner sent you a hug. Hug your bear to hug back.
• Pink: you just sent a hug.
• Red: you hugged back.
• Pulsing purple: setup mode. Open the app to give your bear Wi-Fi.
• Blinking amber: your bear can't get online.
• Dark: all quiet. Your bear is resting.

Setting up your bear

1. Switch your bear on. Its heart pulses purple.
2. In the app, tap Set up your bear, then Connect.
3. Your iPhone asks to join a network called HugBear-…. Tap Join.
4. Choose your Wi-Fi and type its password.

HugBear works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which most home routers offer.

Moved house or changed Wi-Fi?

Open the app, tap the gear, then Change bear's Wi-Fi. If your bear is offline, switch it off and on: after a minute and a half without Wi-Fi, its heart pulses purple.

Deleting your account

Email alex@cafemonday.com from the address you signed in with, and we'll delete your account and its data.
